The Frederick Fairleys

The Frederick Fairleys

Today a typical day in the Fairley household - work for the parents and school for the boys. Lacrosse practice for Michael.

Dad and Ian are off to Goodwill for clothes for the Mud College field trip tomorrow - they have to dress up as a boy and a factory worker in the late 1800's...

Grace had three therapies today - speech at daycare with Reesa, followed by a quick physical therapy visit with Susan. Susan was there to fit Grace with special shoe inserts to keep her ankles from tilting inward - recommended by Dr. Rosenbaum, her new geneticist from Children's Hospital. He has over 3000 children with DS as patients. More on him later but we are excited to have him on our team.

At noon, Mom picked her up to go see Miss Cecilia for more speech. Grace loves her and sees it as play. Lots of homework for next week though.
